ALL THAT DATA

Updated: Oct 20, 2018

With multiple access points on numerous platforms, accessed at various points of need, corporations are going to be looking to get smarter about data, analytics and insights from their learning tools and technologies. Their ROI, will depend on it.

According to Gartner, currently, nearly two-thirds of L&D spending goes to redundant or low-quality learning programs. With employees looking to a multitude of sources for their learning and development, the challenge for corporations will be to prove the value of their investment in their L&D strategies. Those proof points rely on data.

Data and analytics from learning management systems or corporate data consultancies are only as effective as the adoption of the learning tools themselves. With a move toward increased self-serve training and greater appetite for on-demand learning that can be accessed at the time of need, at the employee's pace – measuring success proves to be among the greatest challenges.
